East London rapper/singer Yxng Bane emerged into the mainstream spotlight in January 2017 after releasing his Afro Bashment-inspired remix of Ed Sheeran’s number one hit Shape Of You.

Now signed to Tinie Tempah’s Disturbing London record label, Bane has reached the Official Singles Chart Top 40 with his solo single titled Rihanna, and featured on south London rapper Yungen’s platinum-selling track Bestie. Following his chart success, the 21 year old – who took his name from the Batman character whose mask he has regularly worn to perform - sold out two headline shows at London’s Omeara, where he was joined on stage by grime pioneer Wiley and MOBO Award-winner Abra Cadabra. November 29 will see Bane perform at the 2017 MOBO Awards in Leeds, where he's among hopefuls in the Best Newcomer category, and in January 2018, he will go head to head in a public vote to win MTV’s Brand New for 2018 title.
